We apply kohl with a special stick called a cosmetic spoon or we might use our fingers to apply black lines that protect your eyes from the sun. We can also put green lines around your eyes that come from a powder called malachite. The cosmetic spoon will be dipped into a kohl pot made out of clay that is containing water or oil.
You will get bathed in animal or vegetable oil mixed with powdered limestone
If you have any extra hair we will shave it with our sharp cooper razor
We will apply black and occasionally green khol(which used to be called galena) around your eyelids which are made from finely ground galena
We will also apply a red pigment extracted from the leaves and root of the henna plant which we use to color your hair
Make your feet and hands colorful because Henna is also available for mani’s and pedi’s
